I went with my friend for a Turkish language course for foreigners. He is Ukrainian and does not speak any language other than Russian and Ukrainian. There is also a British, 6 Russian and 4 Iranian citizens attending the course. None of the Russian citizens speak Turkish. Although the teacher lady is a sympathetic, friendly person who loves her job, unfortunately she does not speak a foreign language. In this case, foreign students, including my friend, cannot understand what the teacher is saying. At the insistent request of my friend, I attended the first course (with the teacher's permission) to help him, and by understanding the situation of the students, again with the permission of the teacher, I helped them by translating words and words that they could not understand with my English and little Russian. The second day passed in the same way and everyone was very satisfied. On the 3rd day, when I returned to the course with my friend, the teacher said that, according to the regulation, it is forbidden to attend the course as a companion, by the order of the Public Education Director. This decision, of course, was met with reaction from the students. Is it a regulation... It is as if the regulation is above human and logic. The question that comes to mind is: The Director of Public Education Center should answer this: - How can the teacher of this course be able to teach Turkish to these people in a month and a half without knowing any foreign language? - What is the main purpose of this course? - Who is bothered that I spend my time and energy helping the teacher and foreign students as a companion to my friend and speaking 3 languages? He's not a teacher because we know he's happy with my help. I expect you to openly explain what is bothering you, without hiding behind the so-called regulation, Director of Public Education.
