Kubadabad Sarayı

It is the only (known) Seljuk Palace that has survived to the present day. I haven't visited yet.

According to Kubad Sarayıbâd Palace, İbni Bibi; Sultan Alâeddin Keykubat was impressed by the beauty of the Beyşehir Lake environment on his way from Kayseri to Antalya and ordered a palace to be built here. It was built in 1236 under the supervision of the Vizier Sadeddin Dog, who was the hunting order of the Sultan and also the chief architect, and in line with the sketch drawn by the sultan. While Alâeddin Keykubat built this palace, he ordered the establishment of a city around him. KUBAD-ABAD SELÇUKLU PALACE SITE It is the only Seljuk Palace structure that has survived until today and was built by order of I. Alaaddin Keykubad (1220-1236). The complex is right next to the Beyşehir Lake and at the foot of the Anamas Mountains. Excavations have been continuing since 1980. From the palace to the present day, the ruins of the palace are left with dazzling tiles that adorn the museums. Motifs in tiles; It animates hunting entertainment, magical beliefs, sultan, notables and servants. Rare ceramic works from the palace are exhibited in various museums in Konya, especially Karatay Museum.

The exact intersection point of the remnants of history, the green of nature, the blue of the sky and the turquoise of the lake, is KUBADI ABAD PALACE.
