★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice free archeological museum. Has artifacts from the Neolithic to the Roman age. Normally would take about 20minutes to see all the items. Is also close to a beautiful mosque and Islamic museum. Would recommend coming to see

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A must in Konya! The museum is rife with Roman artefacts that demonstrate how Romans were settled in middle Anatolia. The section of Catalhoyuk artefacts is so impressive, you can see the baby skeleton with the bracelet and wall paintings. It will enrichen your neolithic period knowledge after a visit to Catalhoyuk. And all this is free of charge!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Although the museum is quite small, it contains extremely well preserved sarcophagus, notably the sarcophagus depicting the 12 labors of Hercules. Not much English explanations, but it was a pleasure to just look at some artifacts. A small resting gazebo in the center of the courtyard to rest your tired feet. Very quiet, and absolutely free! Please note that lunch hour from 12:30 to 1:30pm, the museum is closed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small museum and at the time we went there was no entry fee. Larger artifacts are on display in the museum courtyard whereas some sarcophagi are inside dating back 2000 years. Smaller artifacts inside the museum are even older and are from greek roman origin.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This museum is small but has many beautiful displays, and it was free. The museum is open daily except Monday from 09:00 am to 12:00 noon and from 13:00 to 17:00 (1 to 5 pm) for TL2.
Besides the expected Roman, Byzantine and Seljuk artifacts, the museum holds an assortment of finds from the Neolithic tumulus at Çatal Höyük.
