Konur Hotel - Konur Sok. No:7

Everything nice, excellent service, Center area, clean room, but the room smell smoke. need to separate non smoking floor and smoking floor. recommended.

Room was small and the carpets were filthy. Staff at the reception could not speak english. Felt very unsafe in the area with night club just a stone throw away playing loud music till about 4 to 5 am. Breakfast was ok.

Location location location. This is the heart and the center of the city right here. Just a few steps away from Kizilay metro station which is the center too. Walk out of the hotel and your fun already started with restaurants and cafe and bars on both sides of the hotel. It's also near enough (walking distance away) to the American Embassy. The guys at the are very helpful and respectful. They're kind and nice people. and the hotel is very clean. Breakfast is great too. It's a total packages guys.

I give it 2 stars because the location was great and the reception staff are very friendly and helpful, also the breakfast buffet was excellent. The following reasons are why the other stars fell short: -The building is old and delapitated and smells in places, feeble attempts to cover up the oldness with shabby wallpaper and felt-like "carpet" -The steel in the bathrooms are rusted and look filthy, mirrors had toothpaste splatter on, the shower doors are frosted glass with an additional frosting of soap scum -Lots of dirty linens, spots found on the pillowcase and towels, perhaps from hanging on rusted rails in the bathrooms. No spots on doona cover and bed sheets was a plus! -Speaking of rusted rails, the rail in the bathroom for the hand towel in one of our rooms would fall when you put a hand towel on it. -ominous moist patch of carpet in one of the rooms that didn't dry throughout our full day and night stay -Oh, and spotted a cockroach scuttling accross the bathroom floor (only a little one!)

Nice hotel with, perhaps a little over-friendly, service. The place is situated right smack in the middle of an area full of and restaurants making it a great location if food and drink is something you appreciate.

Lousy rooms but friendly service. Right in the middle of city center but also very noisy. If you’re planning to sleep here you won’t be able due. There is lots of bars and clubs in the area, hence the noise all night. On the other hand if you’re looking to have fun here for a night - it is a good option. Prices are reasonable too and in par with other hotels in this area.

remember that struggling sad night in Ankara,and then I stay in konur hotel,the room smell good and so clean,I had the best hotel memory in that little comfy warm room facing to the main alley road where all the restaurant and night market is..it was heals me❤️ the best one night at kizilay experience..to sad I was just 1 night transit and then leave in the morning.. would really love if I have a chance to visit Ankara again one day and stay in that hotel again InshaAllah.. i never forget that warm feeling by the people and the room..it stay in my ❤️ people are so kind at hotel and outside hotel❤️❤️

Very noisy place due to it placed next door to a night club,really couldn't sleep pre exam night,there was no tea equipment and after I asked for it they brought l. Breakfast was not so good,they didn't allow my 2 friends ( they are physician) to come to my room we wanted to check our exam results.
