Köfteler standart lezzetlidir, bizzat deneyimleme fırsatı bulduk; ama biza vay be dedirtecek nitelikte değildi. Yine de tadılabilir, standart köfte. Belki siz daha farklı düşünebilirsiniz. Yanlız köftenin yanına konulan sos işte o nefisti bence, doğruya doğru.
Meatballs are standard delicious, we had the opportunity to experience it personally; but it wasn't enough to make us say wow. Still tastable, standard dumplings. Maybe you might think differently. I think that the sauce placed next to the meatball alone was delicious, right.

Köftesi, mercimek çorbası, tatlıları ve muhabbetiyle eskileri özleyenler için Beykoz'un tarihi sokaklarında mükemmel bir mekan.
It is a perfect place in the historical streets of Beykoz for those who miss the old times with its meatballs, lentil soup, desserts and conversation.

Just a straight forward köfte, made by meats picked carefully from a meat vendor in the small town of Riva almost 30 minutes away from where the shop is. The meat is selected from the short rips part with a high content of fat. It is then minced and mixed with a tiny bit of wet bread, and few whole eggs with salt, cumin and maby some black pepper... that is it. Simple flavors of wholesome ingredients came together to give you a balanced flavor. The soup was fine too, the lentil flavor was dominant and apparent. The Piyaz salad was OK. I only wished there was a slaça source next to the köfte as it would enhanced the flavors even more. Overall it was a lovely experience, where we fond ourselves in a very narrow alley between old wooden homes exchanging a friendly talk with the owners. If you were around give them a try, you will not regret it.
