★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Şanlıurfa'ya 2013 de geldiğimde nekropolün üstünde gecekondular vardı. Mağaralar var içinde diye duyardım sadece. Hatta kendisini mağarada doğdum diye tanımlayan İbrahim Tatlıses'in de buradaki kondulardan birinde doğduğunu söylemişlerdi. Şimdi ise nekropol yaralı ve yorgun da olsa karşımıza çıkarıldı. Emeği geçenlere teşekkür ederim. Ama son ziyaretim esnasında daha önce açık olan üst kat ve alt kattaki bazı kısımların kapatıldığını gördüm, üzüldüm. Sinevizyon çalışıyordu. Biraz daha ilgiyi fazlasıyla hakeden bir miras. Geceleri ise yapılan aydınlatma ile çok daha farklı bir görsel şölen sunuyor ziyaretçilere. Güzel yanı giriş ücretsiz. Ayrıca haftanın her günü açık.
 When I came to Şanlıurfa in 2013, there were slums above the necropolis. I only heard that there are caves in it. They even said that İbrahim Tatlıses, who describes himself as I was born in a cave, was born in one of the condos here. Now, the necropolis has been unearthed, albeit wounded and tired. Thank you to those who contributed. But during my last visit, I saw that some parts of the upper floor and downstairs that were open before were closed, I was sad. The TV was working. A legacy that deserves a little more attention. At night, it offers a very different visual feast to the visitors with the lighting. The good thing is that admission is free. It's also open every day of the week.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Der Eintritt zu den Felsengräbern ist frei. Leider kann man nicht alle 103 besuchen. Nicht weit weg vom Stadtzentrum. Ein Besuch lohnt sich also auf jeden Fall
Admission to the rock tombs is free. Unfortunately you cannot visit all 103. Not far from the city center. So it's definitely worth a visit

Kızılkoyun Necropolis...One of the important ruins of ancient Greek and Roman culture in the city center of Edessa.. There are 103 rock tombs, some of which can be visited.. There is a cinevision room.. It has a very beautiful view when it is illuminated in the evenings..you come by car and the road near the entrance. You can leave your car on the edge and go for a walk..

Şanlurfa Müzesi ve Şanlurfa Büyükşehir Belediyesinin ortaklaşa yürüttüğü arkeolojik kazı ve temizlik çalışımları ile 103 kaya mezari günlugunu çıkartılmuştır.
The ancient Greek Kızılkoyun Necropolis is located in the north of Balıklı Lake, at the beginning of Haleplibahçe. It is one of the native areas in the city of Edessa of ancient Greece and Rome. These tombs are dated to the 2nd and 4th centuries AD. In Kızılkoyun Necropolis, 389 slums were demolished with the expropriation works. With the archaeological excavation and cleaning works carried out jointly by Şanlurfa Museum and Şanlurfa Metropolitan Municipality, 103 rock-cut tomb diaries were excavated.
