We could only reach the fossil trees with the information boards and brochures, the orientation is very poor, we came back before we could reach the terrace, unfortunately.

On the hill points along the ring road in Soğuksu National Park, viewpoints have been built at four different points so that visitors can watch this unique view. The first of these viewing terraces; It is a large viewing terrace located right next to Harmandoruk Hill. It has a view from the south to the north of the National Park. The second observation deck is located at the bottom of the Tolubelen hill when you continue on the ring road. It has a view from the west to the east of the National Park. The third observation deck is located in Karaseki Locality. Due to its location, it has a view that dominates the forest texture in the western part of the National Park. The fourth observation deck is located at the bottom of the Kayabelen hill. It is located in the upper part of the Karaakbaba observatory. In this region, you can also have the chance to watch the black vultures in flight.

In order to go to the viewing terrace, you have to drive up to the picnic area at the top of the Cold Water picnic area. Then you have to go through an iron gate where you will start walking for 5 km and continue. There are occasional notifications in the forest. The roads to the fossil trees are available on the signs. It has a wonderful smell of glass. We went during the pandemic and it was very comfortable. ?Also, a note, do not go 5 km with children. ?

Vehicle entry is prohibited, there may be fines due to photo traps. It can be reached by following the ring road sign through the iron gate on the children's playground at the top in the Soğuksu national park. Approximately 3.5-4 km from the gate. The road is suitable for walking. Navigation is from the village of Karacaören but I don't know if there is a direct road from there.

You can go to a certain place by car and then continue on foot, bicycle or atv. There is no place to rent where you go. Signs are not enough and they are not enough in terms of information. When you stop by the fossil trees, there is very good information there, but as I said, the road signs leading to the terrace are not enough. While we were saying we have come or we will come, we were uneasy walking in the forest because there was no one, and we lost our way for a while. We finally reached it and luckily it was worth it, we liked it very much. Better have distance signs and security. If you want to buy something to eat, take it and go because there is nothing there, the top of the mountain ?

From here you can look at the Kizilcahamam Cold Waters valley. It offers a nice viewing area that everyone can go to. Beautiful in the snow in winter.

You come to Atatürk Park by car, from there you take your bicycle from your luggage and start the 5 km track. If you don't have bikes, don't worry, it's also an ideal place for quiet walks. When you go about 2 km, the road splits into two. We took the upper road on the left (bike track). Unfortunately, there is no food and beverage service. If you want to have a cup of tea when you go out to the terrace, do not forget to take your thermos with you.
