I admire the plan, its historical texture, the pitifulness I have seen in many places and the pitilessness that existed here, a wonderful place that has been abandoned to God, some restoration has been completed, some parts have been completed yet, the open parts are worth it for those who go all the way, but I wish we could see it all

İçerisinde camisi bulunan Kızıl Medrese'nin yapım tarihi hakkında kesin bir bilgi yoktur. Kürt alimi Molla Ahmed-i Cezirî'nin bu medresede eğitim verdiği düşünülmektedir.
The Red Madrasa (Kurdish: Medreseya Sor) is a madrasah built in Cizre by II.Han Şeref Bey during the Cizre Principality period. There is no exact information about the construction date of the Red Madrasa, which has a mosque inside. It is thought that the Kurdish scholar Molla Ahmed-i Cezirî gave education in this madrasa.

We could not see anything due to the renovation, I hope it undergoes a nice restoration and we see it in accordance with its original.
