Bir tane bekçisi varmış sanırım o beklerken açıyorlarmış ama o da kazada vefat etmiş. Yani içeriye giriş yok bilginize.

TARİH
Selçuklu İmparatorluğu döneminde II.Gıyaseddin Keyhüsrev Bin Keykubat tarafından yaptırılan ve 800 yıl önce İpek Yolu’nun Antalya limanı öncesi son duraklarından olan Kırkgöz Han, Kırkgöz Han AŞ. tarafından turizme ve ticaret hayatına tekrar kazandırıldı.
Türkiye’nin en büyük kervansaraylardan birisi olan Kırkgöz Han, 4 yıl süren restorasyon çalışmalarından sonra Antalya’da turizm ve ticaret hayatına yeni bir soluk katmaya hazırlanıyor.
Antalya Burdur Yolu üzerinde şehir merkezinden sadece 30 km uzaklıkta olan Kırkgöz Han, Selçuklular zamanında ana kervan rotalarından birinin üzerinde bulunan kervansaraylar zinciri içerisinde yer alıyor. Kırkgöz Han, II.Gıyaseddin Keyhüsrev döneminde 1236 - 1247 tarihleri arasında yaptırılmış, Anadolu’da sultanların emriyle inşa edilen altı kervansaraydan biridir. Çoğu kervansarayın taşıdığı genel karakteristiklerin yanı sıra çatı örtüsü, burçlar ve avludaki kuyusuyla kendine özgü mimari özelliklere sahiptir.
Kırkgöz Han kitabelerinde “ribat” olarak geçmektedir. Ribat, ilk İslam devletlerinde, hudutlarda askeri amaçlı yapılmış güvenli ve müstahkem yapılardır. Sınırlarda savaş açısından önemli olan yerlerde kurulan bu yapıların içlerinde yatacak ve yiyecek yerler, silah depoları, ambarlar, mescid, hamamlar ve ahırlar bulunurdu.
Kırkgöz Han Kervansarayı, bir belge olarak sosyo-kültürel anlamda tarihsel sürekliliği sağlaması; bununla beraber yeniden kullanımın ekonomik bakımından da olumlu bir girdi oluşturması, yeniden işlevlendirme düşüncesi ile, 4 yıl gibi uzun bir süren restorasyon sürecinden sonra Kırkgöz Han AŞ. tarafından hayata kazandırıldı.

HISTORY
Kırkgöz Han, which was built by Gıyaseddin Keyhüsrev Bin Keykubat II during the Seljuk Empire period and was one of the last stops of the Silk Road before Antalya port 800 years ago, Kırkgöz Han AŞ. has been restored to tourism and business life.
Kırkgöz which is one of Turkey's largest caravanserai Khan, after four years of restoration work in the tourism and commerce in Antalya is preparing to add a new breath of life.
Kırkgöz Han, which is only 30 km away from the city center on Antalya Burdur Road, is located in the chain of caravanserais on one of the main caravan routes during the Seljuk period. Kırkgöz Han was built between 1236 and 1247 during the period of Gıyaseddin Keyhüsrev II, and is one of the six caravanserais built by the sultans in Anatolia. In addition to the general characteristics of most caravanserais, it has its own unique architectural features with its roof cover, bastions and well in the courtyard.
It is mentioned as "ribat" in Kırkgöz Han inscriptions. Ribat is a safe and fortified structure built for military purposes on the borders of the first Islamic states. These structures, which were established in places that were important for war on the borders, were to sleep and eat, weapon storages, warehouses, masjids, baths and stables.
Kırkgöz Han Caravanserai, as a document, provides historical continuity in socio-cultural sense; However, with the idea of re-use as a positive input in terms of economy, and the idea of re-functioning, Kırkgöz Han AŞ. brought to life by.

Cuma gün kapalı. Kapıda ki görevli amca son derece kibar ve işini çok severek yapıyor. Onunla beraber gezerseniz geziniz daha anlamlı olacaktır.
