Hz. Ömer'den nakledilen bir hadise göre de Peygamber Efendimiz şöyle buyurmuştur: ''Allah'a ve ahiret gününe iman eden kimse, üzerinde içki bulunan sofraya oturmasın.''(Tirmizi, Edep,43)
