ARMENIAN CHURCH It is currently under renovation. The basalical planned church located in the Merkez Eski Saray quarter is made of cut stone. The two columns in front of the door are currently the main elements of the courtyard with portico, built with stones between them. The main entrance is on the west side and the inscription area is empty and its surroundings are in the form of a cross. There are one window on narrow faces and 4 windows on long faces. The end part is divided into three sections by two columns and three arches in the long axis direction. The frescoes have been completely destroyed and traces are only seen inside the arches. Column capitals are also decorated with leaf motifs. It is covered with basalt stone slabs on the hipped roof. It does not have an epigraph, it is somewhat similar to the church on the upper part in terms of architecture. It has been dated and if the necessary restoration is done, it seems to save the adjacent church from loneliness. It is necessary to open the porches, internal and external cleaning.

First of all, it is a really big church. He and his surroundings are really awful. We need to protect such a cultural heritage and bring it into tourism. I hope that the municipality will take care of it as soon as possible. It has a typical church architecture and the area where it is located is very large. There are some writings describing the church at the entrance of the door. It sets a good example for friends interested in fields such as Philology or Etymology.
