It is a monument that overlooks Cyprus. Around the bench and park full. You can sit on the grass if you want. In the summer, the wind blows during the day, but after a certain hour in the evening, the breeze is broken. It's close to the Hilton. There are cafes across the street.

Barış harekatının kuşkusuz en çok etkilenen ili Mersin olmuştur. Mersin’liler harekat boyunca “karartma” uygulamıştır. Elektrik, radyolar tv’ler harekat süresince geceleri kapatılmıştır Mersin’de. Siyah perdeler kullanılmış. Araba farları lacivert kağıtlarla kaplanıp ışıkları azaltılmıştır. Olağanüstü hal uygulanmıştır.
Located in Mersin Adnan Menderes Boulevard Culture Park, this monument is across Kushimoto Street. It was made to commemorate the 20 July 1974 Cyprus Peace Operation from Mersin to Cyprus.
Undoubtedly, Mersin was the most affected province of the peace operation. The people of Mersin applied "blackout" throughout the operation. Electricity, radios, TVs were turned off at night during the operation in Mersin. Black curtains are used. Car headlights are covered with dark blue papers and their lights are reduced. A state of emergency has been applied.
