Kerem Ali Plateau

Definitely don't go with navigation. Go with someone who knows. The road stabilizes after a point. It's not asphalt, it's the country road you know. Woe to you if your car is not high. Navigation leaves you in the middle after a point or I couldn't use it. The landscape is wooded. I went to the lake. The lake is beautiful but the place is full of garbage. Maybe that's why they don't do the road. The more people, the more damage. There is a small grocery store on the lake. He sees your work. There were also campers, but I have no experience in this. I don't know what is needed or not. There were families. However, gunshots were heard from time to time. I don't know if the gendarmerie is close or is it at night! While I was leaving in the evening, the dem teams were moving towards that direction. The place is beautiful. However, going with the crowd and basic necessities increases your joy. In the meantime, let me remind you to take precautions against the cold for coats, sweaters and especially for children when going to the plateau.

I was at Keremali Plateau and Camlica Lake on Keremali Mountain, the highest point of Sakarya. There are many areas to camp around the lake. I camped in two different areas. At an altitude of 1400 meters, while sitting by the fire at night, the sounds of jackals add a different atmosphere to the plateau. There was a temperature like the summer heat, but when it gets dark, this heat leaves its place to cold :) I definitely recommend you to have a sleeping bag with you. There are toilets and clean water in the plateau. Also, if you want to fish from the lake, have a fishing rod with you. The roads are dirt roads up to a certain part, but they are not broken, you can easily go by a passenger car. .Love nature Protect animals :)

The lake, the scenery, the people of the highland are magnificent? We liked it very much. We camped for 4 days, the people were very friendly and helped us in everything. However, the biggest problem is the road, unfortunately? You should definitely go with a high car. We stayed on the way, the people of the village came to help, thanks to them. It rained a lot while we were there, and there was a landslide on the already broken road, make sure to check the weather forecast and get out. We went knowing that it was rainy anyway, we literally experienced the winter in July. By the way, there are two roads leading to the lake, we unfortunately came from the hardest because of navigation. The road from Akyazı is very bad, the road from Hendek is better than the other, but we do not plan to come again. The scenery, the people, the beautiful nature, but the road is very bad ? There is no electricity in the plateau, you must have a light or a powerbank to charge your phone. Vodafone and Türk Telekom do not. Very rarely, if the weather is clear at some points, it shoots. There is a toilet and a prayer room, but it is not very clean; rain, mud. There is a market and restaurant that is open on weekends, but they also open on weekdays if needed. They are very warm people, we already bought eggs, bread, etc. from the village people. Since we went with our baby, they wanted to host us in their house because the baby would get cold, thank you ? I think it's cold at night, we used an air mattress, we slept with 2 blankets, but if there was one more blanket, we would cover it so it's a little cold ?

It looks like a postcard. Free camping is possible. There is a fountain for water. There is WC but it is not clean. It gets extremely cold after the sun goes down. It is possible to collect wood from the environment, but it is still useful to collect it on the road. There are two ways. You need to use one as a departure and the other as a return. So, if you face the mountain, you have to come out on the right and come down on the left. If you do the opposite, you will have a very difficult time if you do not have an all-terrain vehicle.

The road is quite bad both over Akyazı, Keremali village and Hendek, Çamlıca. I recommend it to those who have high vehicles. Especially after the rain, the roads are quite miserable. Transportation is more reasonable with the Hendek, Çamlıca village, Gölyayla signs. The toilets are very neglected. There is water, it is clean and cold. Surrounded by trees, the sounds of coyotes are very close at night. Since I went on weekdays and the weather was cold, I had the opportunity to have a quiet camp. It is a very nice area for camping. I advise. Don't forget to bring wood with you. And a suitable outfit for rapidly changing weather conditions.

The view is beautiful, make sure you get your food before you go. There is no inn, grocery store etc. If you find a dry tree without moisture in the forest, it is possible to start a fire. If you say that there is no need for a fire, you will endure a freezing cold even in autumn. The road, unfortunately, does not end, after a certain distance, it is an unbelievably bad stone and dirt road. There were those whose tires exploded on the road.
