Kültür ve Turizm Bakanlığı tarafından "Özel Müze" yetki belgesi verilmiş ve 4 Eylül 2010 tarihinde açılmıştır.

The "Special Museum" authorization certificate was issued by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and opened on September 4, 2010.

Sıkıldığınızda oturup kitap okuyabileceğiniz bir kütüphanesi bile bulunuyor. Buraya gittiğimde böylesi bir yer beklemiyordum. Epey şaşırdım. Mersin'e bakış açımı değiştirdi
You should know the city you live in. The restored looks very pleasing to the eye. The more you get to know the history of the city, the more you get to know yourself. There is even a library where you can sit and read when you are bored. I wasn't expecting a place like this when I went here. I was quite surprised. Changed my perspective on Mersin

Mersin'de görev yapmış ve Mersin'li önemli şahsiyetlerin bıraktığı izlerin anlatımları mevcut. Kütüphanesi olması ayrı bir güzellik. Ulaşım açısından biraz sıkıntılı, aracınız için park yeri yok fakat etrafta özel otoparklar mevcut. Mutlaka gezilmeli.
