★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Horrible service, overpriced from the appetizers to the cocktails. No bar in Turkey would charge extra for the tonic of the Gin&Tonic, especially when the gin was for 80 lira. Complete rip off. Don't go

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kavanoz offers a great ambiance for sunsets in Yalikavak. The food menu is limited and delicious but hard to understand what you will get from the menu. They have great cocktails, many options available. The music was amazing when we were there the last time, after dinner time it turned into a dancing place and was very cool. Overall, I recommend this place but I would like to let you know that it is very expensive not only for Turkish standards but also for European standarts (one cocktail is around 12 euros)

Negative: overpriced, limited choice and low quality of food, overcrowded (too many tables in a small area, very close to each other), unfriendly hosting
Overall, nothing really special. I would not visit again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kavanoz was one my favourite spots in Istanbul. I was happy to find out they opened a new one in Yalikavak. The place is a medium sized garden with a great view. Definitely one of the best places to watch the sunset. The food was pretty good as well we ordered a few things to share and the portions were good and the pricing was very affordable as well. They also have a great cocktail menu. I tried a few different ones and especially enjoyed the English Breakfast. The staff was very friendly and the service was good. We spent a few hours there and really enjoyed it. Its more of a casual place and good if youre looking for a relaxing good meal with a view. Also good for groups and families.
