KAVAK MOSQUE; The mosque, located in Erzurum Kavak District, was built in the 18th century and was completely renovated in 2000 with the restoration. Originally a wooden pillared flat-ceilinged mosque, the building consists of three aisles perpendicular to the altar, formed by five wooden columns in two rows, built on a rectangular area. It was illuminated by nine windows in the east, ten in the west and four in the south. In the north, there is a wooden loge whose exit is made from the last congregation place. Cut stone material was used in the altar with a simple arrangement. The wooden minbar and the muezzin gallery were completely renovated, and the stone minaret in the shape of a cylinder with a square base in the northwest corner was rebuilt in 2000.
