Uçaktan inen yolculara Kastamonu halk otobüsü ile ulaşım sağlıyor.
Bölge turizmi ve ekonomisinin geliştirilmesi amacıyla havaalanının hizmete açılması için Kastamonu İl Özel İdaresi ve Devlet Hava Meydanları İşletmesi (DHMİ) tarafından hazırlanan proje kapsamında 110 milyon lira yatırım yapılan hava alanı 2013 yılından veri hizmet vermeye devam ediyor.
The airport, which has remained idle since 1959 on the grounds that it does not have sufficient passenger potential, has been made ready for flight with an additional investment of 110 million lira, and the flights departing from Istanbul will be flying to Kastamonu Airport 4 days a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
It provides transportation to the passengers getting off the plane by Kastamonu public bus.
Within the scope of the project prepared by the Kastamonu Provincial Special Administration and the State Airports Authority (DHMİ) to open the airport in order to improve the tourism and economy of the region, the airport, which has invested 110 million TL, continues to provide data service since 2013.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small. No atms, nothing. Just one cafe before passing and one after that serves basics (toasts, eggs, meatballs etc but with decent prices i can say). If you're here early, there is no proper way or place to spend time. It is so far from everywhere, hard to reach from the city, let alone from the further villages. I took a cab from the center, it took me 15min and cost 60tl. No busses serving here, there is a private company's shuttles they said but apparently they have a schedule and i missed them ?.
