Kaş Otel

• Situated right by the waters edge with stunning views of the sea. • We had the largest suite with a massive terrace. The room itself was very big but nothing spectacular in terms of decor. It was very bright and clean but the bathroom had mold all over the ceiling and smelt of it. Such a shame that this is not taken care of. • Sun beds are always available. • Impressively good food at the restaurant/bar during the day. Good cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages. • Service was very good and quick. Communication in English was not a problem. • Sea water in this area is turbulent so expect waves when swimming. The water is super clean thought and you will see fish and turtles. • There is an option for dinner on the deck. We had a visiting chef make us custom dishes which were phenomenal but I cannot say much for what is on the regular menu. • Rooms were cleaned every day. • Lots of domesticated cats around which we enjoyed. • Kid friendly. There was not an excessive amount of children at this time so we felt relaxed. SUGGESTIONS: • Breakfast is by far the worst we had in all of our travels through Turkey. Absolutely no options. Felt unwelcoming and just plain disappointing. Win your customers through their stomaches and they will keep coming back! • The air conditioner is poorly placed. It hangs over the bed and blows strong even on the lowest setting. Very easy to get sick this way. There are so may other walls where it could be moved to for ultimate comfort. • Bathroom needs to be maintained and the mold removed from the ceiling and the tiles. • Better, brighter lighting is needed in the bathroom. Too dull in there for us ladies. • One huge downfall is the strong fish smell coming from the kitchen that is for some off reason is situated below the room balconies. When people are paying mainly for their views and balconies, the only smell should be of the sea. • Kitchen below the balconies is very loud. At 7 am there is banding of pots and cutlery being thrown around. • Music from the restaurant can play until 2am. Make sure to tell them to turn it off around midnight.

I stayed at Kaş Otel in October 2020. Breakfast is very basic, so we went other places for breakfast. Rooms are ok but there were black spots on the ceiling, we asked the hotel management to fix it however they didn’t fix it. Beach restaurant is not good, it is more expensive than other places in Kaş and food is not very good. If you want to have a good dinner I would advise Zaika, Zula, or Muptella. Definitely you will pay less for better food in Kaş Center. Service is really bad, they try to rip off tourists with extra charges. For example they said we have to buy hygiene package for the mattress, however I haven’t seen this rule in other beaches in Kaş, Cirali, Kalkan, Buyukcakil. I told them this is not ok, and the hotel manager told us it will not be charged. I checked the bill and it was added. The amount is not big but it wasn’t honest approach. Another example; my friend paid the bill at Kaş beach restaurant and after we went to Kaş center for dinner. When we returned to Hotel they stopped us and they claimed that account is not paid. Thank God my friend had the payment receipt so we didn’t have to pay twice. Another bad experience; they asked extra charge for the coffee at breakfast, so we paid this after breakfast and I asked them not to write any charge on our room number. However when we were checking out they ask us to pay for the coffee which was already paid. Good things about this hotel: Two employee at the entree were very very helpful with car parking and the suitcases. And one waitress at beach restaurant was very kind. Room view is very nice because Kaş is very nice place I guess you cannot make it worse. Beside this I cannot add any positive notes. I give 1 star only for the view and these 3 staff. I would not book this hotel again.

Lovely staff, amazing food, wonderful location and clean rooms. I absolutely recommend this place. We're definitely going back next year.

Okay, where to start? They ask to pay the room upfront. Please check the actual room before you enter and pay. Our bathroom was not okay and different from the room we had seen before. They told us all rooms look the same, but that is not true. There were humidity problems in the room we had, but they did not mention this. After noticing the reception, they promised to clean, but they never did. I went to Migros and bought cleaning stuff and I had to clean the room myself to be comfortable (And I am not even a tidy person). Worst breakfast I have ever had in Turkey. They count 1 slice of everything per person (good if you are on diet). Hotel and beach charged extra things we did not order (cheese). The hotel and beach pretends like the local government requires a hygiene package (which is the most useless thing against corona ever. It seems better to spray just alcohol), but we spoke to people working at the local governments and other hotels and beach bars (Buyukcakil, Halk Plaji) and beach areas, and they have never heard of such rule, only Kas Otel knows it :).. It is not expensive, but it is just bad service and sneaky how they try to bill you. The hotel said they would take the hygiene packages off the bill but they did also not live up to that promise. Additionally, our friend was accused of not paying for some drinks. Luckily she saved the proof of payment. But she was accused in a rude manner and there were no apologies when tthey found out they were wrong. The beach club has way too many people working there for the amount of work, but still they cannot give good service. They just hang around there and are more busy with themselves than the customers. They have clearly no experience in hospitality. Only the blonde girl was very sweet and pro-active. We tried to avoid the hotel’s beach as much as possible. Dinner is too expensive. There are much better and more affordable restaurants in Kas. Long story short, I did not feel welcome and comfortable and would never ever book here again and I would not recommend it to my friends. If you do stay here, keep your financial administration very organised and don’t expect any service. One star for the view from the balcony is all I can give.

We have faced with various problems during our stay at Kaş Hotel and the treatment we received by management was too disrespectful and threatful: Billing procedure on the beach (They can not keep accounts regularly, even we have warned.), disinfecting policy (There were bedbugs within sunbeds.), having attitude incompatible with animal rights, raising voice and accusing customers, out of order items in the room (refrigerator, lights). The hotel’s management does not listen to customers, adopts a very harsh tone and does not provide solutions to complaints. So I highly recommend to take into account all reviews about the hotel before your visit.

What a find! I stopped for breakfast & asked if I could stay, and it's a paradise with waves as music. Lovely people & place.

From Moscow with love!) Good place. Real first line. U can jump from 3 meter to sea. For girls two entrance from pantone. Amazing staff. Quiet and relax. All what u need near 50 meters around hotel. But breakfast really small)

The worst coffee and service at the terrace restaurant. Told Mojitos were 30tl and charged 60tl. Ice late coffee tasted of water and said I could not taste any coffee, they brought over an espresso shot and also made an extra charge. Nice view but service and drinks terrible
