Where do I start with this disasterous tour. We booked an Ephesus tour with this terrible company through our hotel. We paid 70 euro per person. 1. We were told the driver would pick us up at 5:45 am. He came around 6:20am. 2. The driver picked us up and dropped us off to the city center to transfer to another larger bus. The bus was packed with about 50 people. Absolutely no regard for Covid. 3. The bus took us to a cheap breakfast "buffet" area. We are told it would cost an extra 30 lira for this breakfast. Why the hell was breakfast not included in the 70 euros??? The company couldn't spare a cheap breakfast to be included?? The breakfast place was a complete money grab. They charged 14 lira for a small tangerine drink and 20 lira for ice cream. Yes 20 lira for ice cream. They charged for fresh spinach and cheese pancakes 30 lira as well. 4. The tour provided absolutely no water. The least you can do is provide water. 5. It made a pit stop to an abysmal jewelry company which wasted about an hours time....dear stupid tour company - WE DID NOT PAY FOR YOU TO TAKE US TO A JEWELRY SHOP. WE PAID FOR A TOUR OF EPHESUS! The entire tour group was livid that we stopped there. After we stopped at the jewelry shop where the workers tried to scam us for fake and way overpriced jewelry, we stopped at ephesus. We only spent 2 hours and felt very rushed. 6. After the tour, we finally stopped to grab lunch around 14:30. We went approximately 6 hours without food. The lunch was packed again inside a restaurant with no regards to covid. It was also a buffet with no social distance measures. And the food was bland and terrible. The restaurant charged for any sorts of drinks which again should be included. 7. After lunch, the tour guide said the Virgin Mary's house is optional. We opted out due to how tired we were. They dropped us off at some cheap clay making shop where we sat outside on the ground for over an hour. 8. At the end of the bus ride, the tour guide has the nerve to make an announcement to tip the bus driver before we leave. 70 euros per person and you couldnt find money to give to the driver?? You can't be serious. The person who organized this tour is a buffoon. Our bus finally arrived after over an hour and we finally got home. We left the hotel at 6:30 from Bodrum and got home at 20:00. This was the worst tour I have ever taken. I do not recommend these idiots for anyone. We only enjoyed ephesus for 2 hours in a span of 14 hours.
