KARS HOST HOTEL

Nice hotel , welcoming and helpful staff , Good location, but very small rooms , very small elevator , and not much toiletries

I had the best experience in this hotel. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and good value. The best part is the staff, however. I got a flat tire in my rental car the night before arriving, & the rental car company (Sixt) was worthless in helping to replace my wheel, even though they were quick to request payment for any damages. Anyway, I told the hotel staff my situation (needing a new tire to replace my small spare tire), & without any hesitation, they immediately took me to a friend’s shop who got me a new tire (for a VERY fair price), installed the new tire, checked the rest of my tires condition, & added air to my other tires. The whole operation took less than 30 minutes, and they were happy to help. I wish I could give more stars. I love this place.

I would like to come there again, the service is just amazing, all workers from the owner and all are just great, helpful, the room was clean warm enough,and the breakfast is important for us, that much that was delicious,so much different things, selfservice, I forgot the chef name, but I just want to say he is so good chef, thanks a lot to everyone there, The hotel located in a great area, close to everywhere, I highly recommend ❤️ enjoy

I would highly recommend this hotel which is well located on a main shopping street. The hotel was excellent value for money, with a good, comfortable room and bathroom and good selection of food for breakfast. The owner and staff were very friendly and the owner speaks good english and helped advise me on how to visit Ani, sights in Kars and onward travel, even calling the bus company for me which I highly appreciated, nothing was too much trouble for them. Even though my room was over the main street, it was not noisy. The hotel is in a very good location, walking distance to the castle and other sights in Kars and it is easy to find good places to eat nearby. I was travelling as a woman alone and felt very safe and comfortable here. I highly recommend as a very good value and well located hotel in Kars.

Initially it was very difficult to locate the hotels in Kars specially when you reach in mid of the night. I have to walk from Kars Gar to this hotel it was around 10 min walk and i used googl map. Booked this hotel in good price with breakfast. lift and room was very small but this doesnt matter if you are on budget trip. Staff at reception was very humble and welcoming and he can speak english. The owner or manager of this hotel was a great helping man he can also assist you how you should explore the city he always love to talk to you in english when you want to. i liked the stay and will be staying there again soon.

Thoroughly recommend! The hotel is excellently located and a great base for exploring. The wonderful Savas looked after us brilliantly. He kindly arranged drivers to take our group to Lake Cildir, Ani and the Devil’s Castle over the course of 3 days and had lots of helpful advice. Nothing was too much trouble for him! A fantastic stay!

The owner was wonderful and very helpful. He contacted us in the afternoon to introduce himself and ask when we will arrive. We were on the dogu express train and we're delayed several hours. He arranged a taxi to meet us at 11pm, also arranged a restaurant for us to eat. Unfortunately we arrived too late. Very very helpful and spoke English. If you are taking this trip to Kars, you must stay at this hotel. Breakfast buffet was nice and the staff was very helpful in every way.
