★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Klasik Anadolu havaalanı gibi görünse de, iç alanı gayet büyük. Ama kapıdan geçtikten sonra mahremiyet bölgesi. Mümkünse hızla uçağa geçmek istiyorsunuz. Şehir merkezine yakın, Çıldır Gölü'ne 1.5 saat mesafede.
 Although it looks like a classical Anatolian airport, its interior space is quite large. But once you're through the door, it's a privacy zone. You want to get on the plane as quickly as possible. Close to the city center, 1.5 hours from Çıldır Lake.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm normally pretty easy on the establishments I review, but I cannot ignore the glaring flaws and inconveniences present in Kars. First of all the P.F. Chang's is quite a trek from the terminal, not very convenient like the other airports I've been to. The Chang's isn't even good either. Secondly, there is this deathly stench that presides in this property. Someone's gotta check the HVAC.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the Best airports in Anatolia, well designed very organized. Located 15 minutes away from the city center. Ambiance inside is vert bright due to specific architecture. Did not try food court but surely you can have some snacks.

The passenger terminal open to the public covers an area of 1,695 m2 (18,240 sq ft) and has a parking lot for 100 cars.The airport was closed in the spring and summer months of 2007 for renovation works. The re-opening took place on 22 October 2007.The new terminal was designed by architect Yakup Hazan.
