When you decide to go to Karacadag houses, I say firstly, get ready to find yourself in a fairy tale. It is a wonderful business with its perfect nature that you can see for 3 seasons a day. It makes you feel like you are going to the house of a relative, not on a vacation. The owner Gülten and Yılmaz have a big share in the conversations and seeing you as their guests. As you leave, you are brooding about when I can come back again. The morning breakfast is enough, you can fry the fragrant village breads yourself in the cooker and drink as much as you want from the delicious tea brewed in the stove. If you're out of borek and tea in the afternoon, there is a tea time. Evening meals are great. I will never forget my seven jugs. The home cooking is as if the mother's hand is intact ... The rooms are quite adequate. The colorful huts remind you of Ki Seker houses in the fairy tale hansel and gratel. Each house has its own garden table and bench. There is also a lot of space in the garden for fools and reading books. The most important thing is that since no children are taken, there are no children who are making noise around. It is a place where you need to go without hesitation in order to leave yourself in the arms of nature and silence, just by having peace, nature, pleasant conversation and wonderful food. Do not forget to take plenty of books and drinks when you go. Likewise, grocery store etc. Doesn't exist. I would like to thank Ms. Gülten and Ms. Yılmaz for everything from here. You are going on a vacation and you gain very precious friendships that send you a message when you freeze, saying "Are you okay?" ❣️.

It is useful to get very detailed and solid directions before you go, because the navigation puts you on strange forest roads between Iznik and Izmit. (It is not pleasant to go on a narrow, stony, sloping, winding road of about 45 km in 2 hours) The establishment offers a calm and pleasant environment. The meals are hearty. I only broke 2 stars for the lack of cleaning and maintenance at home.

We went to Karaca chalets for two family holidays. We were greeted very friendly and sincerely by Ms. Gülten and Mr. Yılmaz, and we thank them very much. As a place, it is really a quiet place in the middle of nature, where there are only bird sounds. The houses are very clean and the breakfast and dinner were just as good. There are places to visit in the surrounding areas as well. Thank you again and I hope to go back soon.

Positive aspects: 1 - No children. 2 - Common areas are heated well with stoves or fireplaces, there is a central heating in the places of accommodation. 3 - The owner of the business showed us the hiking trail in the forest and gave information about the trail. 4- There is a beautiful walking path along the stream, in the forest and valley, 5-10 minutes by car. We went for 1.5 hours and could not see the end. The view is great. 5 - Shoes are not allowed in the common area where meals are eaten. Bring your house slippers 6 - Decent people, as guests are nature lovers. Even though we haven't met before, we had a great time together. 7 - The service offered and the fee requested are balanced. Negative aspects: 1- The main meal for dinner was bad for two days in a row. Breakfast content and bread are medium. 2 - It would be better if business owners get help because they do some of the work and as such, they can get tense when things increase. 3 - There is no curtain or screen separating the bathroom and toilet in the accommodation, it may be unattractive for those who pay attention to their comfort and hygiene. We did not have much trouble because the nature walks were quite tiring for us, a hot shower was good, we slept and slept. But you better have bath slippers. 4 - The cell phone is not working, but the wifi is fine. 5 - The facility feels neglected in general, but let's not eat its rights, I guess this is the amount for this money.

It is a place of peace, calmness, and energy storage at the same time... Service is great.. whether you go with or without children, but it is a place where you can be satisfied under all circumstances.. ??

It is a great luck to have such a business in Kocaeli. The food is delicious, the location and rooms are peaceful, the operators are smiling, everywhere is sparkling. You won't regret it.

It is not an ideal place to go in winter, most of the rooms are cold, the roads are closed when it snows, the municipality etc. they do not open the roads, there is no telephone, there is no wireless in the rooms, no shower cabin, no TV; breakfast is good, dinner is not good, no lunch, it could be better in spring??

Pluses: The nature is beautiful and the staff is helpful. Cons: - Rooms are too small, - the heaters in the rooms are not enough for cold weather. We couldn't sleep through the night because of the cold and it is very uncomfortable to stay in the room during the day. - Bed, pillows and covers are very old. - There is no shower cabin in the bathroom. - Food especially dinner was very limited and not enough for all guests. - Nescafe was old, probably expired. - It was a very bad experience.
