★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Update: Order from Parlak on Yemeksepeti. Much, much better food and service (not to mention authentic Turkish cuisine) for a fraction of the price. Don't waste your time and money here..
Turkey may have some of the world's best chefs and best food, but none of them seem to work in old town Kaleici.
The owner of this place is first and foremost a businessman - interested in your money above all else. The kofte ekmek costs 20 lira - $3 - if you are a foreigner. That price gets you three frozen, tasteless, reheated meatballs with a very tiny slice of tomato and a few shreds of lettuce on bread. The meatballs are cooked in lifespan-shortening margarine - no matter how many times you ask for real butter. They will lie about it to your face. (God forbid you try to ask them to cook it in olive oil - how all Turkish food was originally cooked.)
This restaurant is trying so hard to maximize profits that they have no paper towels in the bathroom, and they won't even give you a fork and knife for takeaway if you ask.
This is FAR from the only place in central Antalya that feels like a ripoff. But the sad truth that you can buy 10x better Turkish food for the same or a lower price in cities in Texas than you can in the historic center of Antalya.
I'm hoping to have a better culinary experience in other parts of Turkey. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Owners are scammers. They write the price for 100g and put as much meat as they want then asking you to pay ridiculous prices for this disgusting street food. After you start to argue and they just gaslight you. Don’t go here!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ be very careful of this place! it cheats people. the menu says 35 for a doner. but when the bill comes, they said medium doner is for 70 and charged me that. this is not on the menu at all. then they said the large doner is even for 300 or 400. I dont believe it as there's nothing on the menu other than saying it should be 35.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The menu says 35 lira for a döner but when it was time to pay they charged us 70 for a “medium” döner. No prices on the menu outside. And nowhere does it say a medium döner is 70lira. Avoid this tourist trap unless you agree the price beforehand

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do not eat there! Extremely bad! Scammers! I felt very unsafe!
They offer a larger portion of a meal and do not name the price! It is not on the menu either! They wanted us to pay 100 tl for mediocre fatty meat and and not so fresh bread. Two grown men leaned over my table telling me I do not have a heart and I should have understood that they will ask over ONE HUNDRED TL FOR A SANDWICH. I am in shock!
And I am sure they know what they are doing. I had a way better meal at a touristy spot in other cities of Turkey for LESS THAT 50tl!
