Stadyum, Kahramanmaraş Belediyesi Sosyal Tesisleri'ndedir. Bu tesislerde 60 sporcuyu barındırabilecek, eğitim-öğretim verebilecek kapasiteye, lojman ve antrenman sahaları bulunmaktadır. Kahramanmaraş'ın güneyinde bulunan bu stadyum, uzun süre Kahramanmaraşspor tarafından kullanılmıştır. Kahramanmaraşspor'un maçları 12 Şubat Stadyumu'nda oynamayı istemesiyle bu stadyum Kahramanmaraş Büyükşehir Belediyespor'un Bölgesel Amatör Lig'de ev sahipliği yaptığı stadyum haline geldi. Kentte bulunan diğer stadyum ve sahalara göre oldukça daha modern görünüm izlenimi veren Hanefi Mahçiçek Stadyumu'nda zaman zaman diğer amatör küme maçları da oynanmaktadır.
