★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Station is open despite of COVID. Nice commute options to eminonu and karakoi. It is so relaxing to travel by authentic ferry boat through the straight at the end of the day. To bad ferry service closed all food and drink facilities on board. Shame. It was a part of the proper Istanbul experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Once you get your card for the ferry’s and Tramway it’s probably the best way to travel I’m Istanbul considering there is so must traffic. Make sure to know your destination since each ferry goes to a different location. Google can help you with the names and destination

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There is not much to really tell, this is the place you come, local people or tourist to catch the ferry to the European side and beyond. It’s not worth a rating because this isn’t for you to review, particularly if you’re visiting Turkey. This is a critical resource for the local community and their economy and lifestyle. It’s not perfect and it’s a bit chaotic but that comes with the culture perhaps, plenty of auto machines yo purchase a pass, and some English speaking workers depending on time or day or luck of the draw; to help you if you are lost. Mostly just use the machine and buy a single ride or a 2 to 3 ride pass and hop on! Both go to old Istanbul and further as stated. Good luck!
