Kadıini Mağarası

The cave is located in Oba Beldesi Kadıpınarı area. Human skeletons from the Upper Paleolithic and Early Bronze Age have been found. The entrance hall consists of a large gallery. There is no detailed information about the length and characteristics of the cave. There are rich stalactites and stalagmites in the cave. Its responsibility lies with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

It is located in Kadıpınarı. It is a little higher from the road, it is on the top of the hill. The cave has cultural importance and the entrance of the cave (?) Kadini cave. Kadı ini Mağarası A cave that will never be opened for inspection. Expeditions go there for a few days! Endless labyrinths and you can't get out of there without equipment! In Google maps, the photo of the cave entrance is blurry. From the road there is only a staircase that goes very high. There are no signs and signs. There is a grate on the stairs and at the entrance to the cave. The entrance is a grotto where it is dark and you can hear bats. In 1957, during an inspection of the cave by Professor Kylinca KOKTENA, human skeletons and fossils were discovered. In October 2017, a more detailed study of the cave was carried out. Then were found human skeletons belonging to the late Eneolithic (Bronze Age 3500-1200 BC). It was discovered that there may be a necropolis here. An examination of the burial site showed that the dead were transferred to the cave. The largest concentration of them was in the pits. Whether this was one burial, or the dead were brought periodically, it is not clear. The Anthropological Faculty of the University of Isparta in 2018 recognized 100 human skeletons that were buried at a depth of 400-800m in the cave. There are damaged bones (mutilation, life trauma, cuts, fractures). In some bones holes are made, and there are also bones with traces of burning. The cave was divided into sectors. In each sector, different remains were found by gender: women, men, children. Among the bones were also found skeletons of animals: ungulates, carnivores, rodents. It is noted that in the history of Alanya there have never been so many finds dating back to ancient times. Along with the skeletons, large and small jugs (pitot and urns), a mug, a spindle-shaped crown, a small number of needles / awls and stone tools were found inside the cave. The map of the cave is impressive, but there is no exact data on its depth or length. There is a lake in the cave, which was called royal, as well as a river with a fast flow, but where and where it flows from is unknown. I was glad to touch and see this historical place with my own eyes!
