Inside the castle, it is opposite the İskender Pasha mosque. It can be seen in the inscription on the portal that it was made by a person named Kadı Mahmut on H. 922 (M.1584). The mosque, which was repaired and restored by the General Directorate of Foundations in 1982-83, is simple to build and dominates the Ottoman architectural style.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Çok güzel ve yeşillikler içinde tarihi bir cami. Ama namaz vakti dışında kapalı olması iyi değil. Çevre yolundan Van gölü sahiline doğru gidilince ulaşılabiliniyor.
Very beautiful and greenery in a historic mosque. But it is closed except prayer is not good. It is possible to reach Van Lake from the ring road towards the coast.

Tavanın nemi emmesi için yumuşak bir taştan yapıldığı söyleniyor. Yanindaki diğer cami ile birlikte gezilebilir. Ancak namaz vakitlerinde ziyaret edin, günün diğer saatlerinde kapalı.
It is a work built with the classical mosque architecture encountered in historical mosques in the east. Very precious and beautiful. Everywhere, including the ceiling, is a stone structure. It is said that the ceiling is made of a soft stone to absorb moisture. It can be visited with the other mosque next to it. But visit during prayer times, it is closed at other times of the day.
