Kabe formunda , kare planlı (7,03×7,11), yaklaşık 50m2.oturum alanlı, tek kubbeli, tek minareli, tek şerefeli...H.800 (M.1397) yılında, Hacı Yusuf Oğlu Hacı Mehmet tarafindan yaptırılmış...Istanbul'un fethinden 56 yıl önce, günümüzden 621 yıl önce yapılmış tarihî camiilerden! ...Konumu ve manzarası çok güzel! ...Afyonkarahisar Kalesi'ne nazır!...Kale buradan Muhteşem bir abide/Anıt gibi dimdik ayakta duruyor...Görüntüsü harika!... ...Şu anda tamir-bakım,restorasyon çalışmalarının yapıldığı bir ibadethane... Bu Camii'nin biraz yukarısında, "Çavuşbaş Camii" var ...O Camii' de ziyaret etmelisiniz...Kale arkasında pek çok Konak,tarihî mekân tamir-bakıma alınmiş vaziyette...Kolay gelsin!... Kar planlı mescidin üzeri küçük bir kubbe ile örtülüdür. Kesme bazalt taşından yapılmış olup duvarlarında antik dönemlere ait taşlar yer yer kullanılmıştır. Camiye batı yönündeki 11 basamaklı bir merdivenle çıkılan bir kapıdan girilmektedir. Giriş kapısının üzerinde üç satırlık 1397 tarihli kitabesi bulunmaktadır: Cedde’de ve dehale el Cennete bed Elhaç Muhammed bin elhaç Yusuf Fi Muharrem âm...samanimie Türkçe’si: Bu mescidi yenileştirdi ve sevabı dolayısıyla cennete girdi Hacı Muhammet bin Hacı Yusuf 800 Muharreminde Girişin iki yanında ve kıble yönünde açılmış iki pencere ile içerisi aydınlatılmıştır. İç mekan badanalanmış olup herhangi bir bezemesi bulunmamaktadır. Mescidin güney batı yönündeki, beden duvarları üzerine yapılmış minaresine duvarların içinde açılmış dar bir merdivenle çıkılmaktadır. Keşke etrafını çeviren korkulukların üzerine yıkanıp kurumak için asılan şeyler (yorgan bile vardı) olmasaydı. No matter how restored, the consciousness is useless unless restored. I wish there wasn't things (even duvets) hanging over the railing that surrounded them and hung to dry.
