K-GEM

Our Consortium was established with the partnership of strong universities and sectoral representatives of the two largest cities (Istanbul-Ankara) of Turkey which has the largest numbers of industrial development and need for qualified labour force with the aim of refreshing University-Industry collaborations in the region, introducing students with business life through high quality placements and thus by advancing their careers. Academic partners will pioneer regional, national and international University-Industry partnerships through enhanced relations with companies and NGOs in the region, while NGO partners will direct and supervise the internship search process and help to prepare the students for intercultural exchange as well as supporting their presence in the sector and will have an advantage in correctly employing these students in the right sectors and positions. Moreover, academic partners will help and support quality personnel education through information dissemination and personnel training and lecturing of academic partners. Each academic partner will also benefit from the staff mobility to improve exchange information and best practices between European institutions by the mobility that will be supported by the funds of the consortium. Our consortium also aims to provide qualified and experienced workforce to “Entrepreneurship” atmosphere in Istanbul and Ankara regions. With the mobility to certain areas related to entrepreneurship it is aimed to bring the outside knowledge to our country as well as building strong connections to enable to establish new business opportunities further for both parties’ individuals.
