JOY, a place to truly enjoy ♡ JOY restaurant & Lounge bar is a sublime place to relax and enjoy..... sipping a cocktail (ask for the specialty, you will not regret it!) and watching the sun playing hide and seak with the mountains and sea in front of you and then slowly moving over to a cosy table under the olive trees to have a lovely dinner... Once you've been there, you just want to go back! Staff are all so friendly and helpful, which you need because choosing your mezes isn't an easy job: they are all so delicious!! Seafood meze with octopus (or ask for a grilled octopus leg, best I ever had) crab or shrimps (or take the mixed one if you want to taste it all), salad with aubergine (smokey is my favourite), fish meze, seagrass, courgette cookies, other veggies or crispy fried shrimps,  it's all there and there's plenty of choice for everyone. Together with homemade bread and a fine glass of wine (JOY has many Turkish wines and they are so delicate and tasteful) and followed by a (fresh!) fish from the grill, we can only say we really enjoyed being here. We've tried the Turkish breakfast and köfte (turkish meatballs) on other days that week and must say: it's all so tasteful! Happy we discovered this peaceful (also very reasonable priced) place: It's located in the D-Marin marina. Little bit out of the small centre of Göcek. Just a 5-10 minutes walk along the coast and towards the pine trees, or follow the white service cars driving that direction or try to hop on if you can catch one ;-) Good to know that the marina is accessible to everyone, just pass the barrier or take the small walking path (yaya yolu) near the sea and you'll end up in front of JOY.

Great service, delicious food, especially the octopus! It's unforgettable! Recommend.

We had an evening meal then went for breakfast the next morning. Excellent meals. Great service. Very friendly staff. And they produced a wonderful birthday cake for our son.

Great restaurant offering a casual, modern and very tasty menu within beautiful surroundings. The staff is dedicated to their job so the overall experience is perfect. When I asked if they had a grapefruit juice, they said they had grapefruit trees in their back garden so I was offered fresh juice in five minutes! Their cheeseburger is to die for and during our two visits (lunch and dinner) everyone in our group loved the food. Strongly recommended.

An open air restaurant facing the marina in gated complex . The food was great and service was awesome . The manager bought a fish for us wasn’t in the menu . Melisa and Saffet were excellent. Highly recommended .
