Very dirty place, under the bed was full of dust and disposable slippers from previous users and plastic bottles... ants everywhere, toilet was disgusting... doesnt even deserve 1 star ???

Yes, the hotel is great. Specifically the staff is very cooperative.

Old boutique hotel, warm friendly owners. Prices are good, close to city center. A little noisy, because it is old wooden house. Breakfast is good. A lot of tv channels.

The hotel is truly beautiful, old traditional wooden Turkish house. The view is great. Normal room has an ottoman style. The soundproofing is terrible though, we heard the receptionist play video games all night... ? And there is no breakfast before 9:30...

?? I'm giving this place a four stars because of how helpful and well mannered the staff was. Price wise it is also perhaps one of the most reasonably priced hotels in Izmit. I'm a non smoker and the first room I was offered smelled terribly of smoke. Having spoken at length with the owner about this, I believe things will change and more attention and options will be made available for non smokers. After all this is an historical building and the risks of allowing people smoking in the rooms is enormous. The decor of the hotel was also very pleasant. There is a small garden area downstairs, and the hotel is situated on a pedestrian road so it is rather quite. The shower handle in my room was broken but I had nonetheless a very good strong hot shower. The restaurant/breakfast options are currently closed due to COVID-19 restrictions, however because of this, the owner allows customers to use the kitchen freely. A supermarket is very nearby. I paid 100 lira a night. This place is not easily accessible on a wheelchair.

Nice hotel with lovely view. The owner (lady) is so good, friendly and helpful. I really liked her a lots. Everything is ok but it's little dirty too. They should concern about that.
