 In the past, this building was Hasan Ali Yücel Education Faculty (HAYEF). It became the Faculty of Architecture after the division of the University in 2018.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Küp bina HAYEF için inşa edilmiş daha sonra Mimarlık Fakültesi'ne tahsis edilmiştir. Estetik açıdan yoksunluğu okulun eğitimine yorulmamalıdır. Mimarlık eğitimini burada deneyimlemiş biri olarak doyurucu görüyorum, mimarlıkta ısrarcı olanlar tarafından tercih edilebilir fakat "mimarlık" ne kadar tercih edilebilir bilmiyorum.
The cube building was built for HAYEF and later allocated to the Faculty of Architecture. The lack of aesthetics should not be attributed to the education of the school. As someone who has experienced architectural education here, I find it satisfying, it can be preferred by those who insist on architecture, but I don't know how much "architecture" can be preferred.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Eskiden HAYEF vardı burada şimdi mimarlık fakültesi ve dekanlık binası olmuş. Her şey değişiyor tamam da keşke değiştikçe daha iyi olsa yani bu tarihi ortama bu bina yakışmış mı bi de burası mimarlık fakültesi ya sloganınız "terzi kendi söküğünü dikemez" herhalde kusura bakmayın ama koskoca Istanbul Üniversitesi'ne bu bina yakışmamış.
There used to be HAYEF here, now it is the faculty of architecture and the dean's building. Everything changes, but I wish it would be better as it changes, so does this building suit this historical environment, is this a faculty of architecture, or your slogan is "the tailor can't sew his own rips", I'm sorry, but this building does not suit the huge Istanbul University.
