İstanbul Giresunlular Çevre, Kültür ve Dayanışma Derneği başkanı Ali Öztürk Giresun Medya Platformu Üyelerini Bahçelievler’de bulunan dernek lokalinde ağırladı.
Giresun’a özgü yemeklerin yenildiği toplantı sonrasında Medya Platformu üyeleri ile sohbet eden Ali Öztürk İstanbul Giresunlular Çevre, Kültür ve Dayanışma Derneği ve çalışmaları ile ilgili bilgiler verdi.
Öztürk “Bakırköy Giresunlular Derneğinin kapanması ile birlikte bu bölgede oluşan boşluğu doldurmak amacıyla kurduğumuz derneğimiz daha önce Giresun’un çevre sorunları ile ilgili 4 panel yaptı. Bu panelin ikisini dernek merkezimizde birini de Yunus Emre Kültür merkezinde yaptık. Son yaptığımız panele katıldığınız için medya platformuna teşekkür ediyorum. Bu panelimiz gerek ulusal gerekse yerel medyanın ilgisi nedeniyle verimli bir panel oldu. Dernek olarak daha çok Giresun’un çevre sorunlarıyla ilgili çalışmalar yaptık. Asla bir HES karşıtlığımız yok. Ancak Bir vadi üzerine 15-16 tane HES yaptıktan sonra bu HESlerin çevreye zarar vermediğini söylemek çok da inandırıcı değil. Biz Giresun’un çevre sorunları ile ilgili gerek yerel medya gerekse STK’larımızla işbirliği içinde verimli çalışmalar yapmak istiyoruz. Yöre halkının bilinçlendirilmesi için çaba harcıyoruz. Giresun’un çevre sorunlarının tartışılacağı bir paneli Giresun’da da yapmak üzere çalışmalarımız devam ediyor” dedi.
Giresun Medya Platformu Başkanı Sadi Toygar “Hem bu akşamki ağırlama hem de panel için teşekkür ediyoruz. Bizim Giresun Medya Platformu olarak da amacımız STK’larımızın sesini duyurabilmek ve onları desteklemek. Panel konusunda da Şebinkarahisar’daki madenlerimizin de bu panelde ele alınmasını isterdik.”dedi.
Toplantıya katılan Giresun Medya Platformu üyeleri de kendilerini tanıtarak Giresun’un sorunları ve çözümleri konusundaki fikirlerini belirttiler.

 Ali Öztürk Hosted the Media Platform
Ali Öztürk, the president of Istanbul Giresunlular Environment, Culture and Solidarity Association hosted the members of the Giresun Media Platform in the local association of Bahçelievler.
After the meeting, where the food unique to Giresun was eaten, Ali Öztürk chatted with the members of the Media Platform and gave information about the Istanbul Environment, Culture and Solidarity Association and its activities.
Öztürk said: “With the closure of Bakırköy Giresunlular Association, our association we established to fill the gap formed in this region previously held 4 panels on Giresun's environmental problems. We held two of these panels in our association center and one in Yunus Emre Culture Center. I would like to thank the media platform for participating in our last panel. This panel became a productive panel due to the interest of both national and local media. As an association, we have carried out studies on Giresun's environmental problems. We never have a HES opposition. However, after making 15-16 HEPPs on a valley, it is not convincing to say that these HEPPs do not harm the environment. We would like to carry out productive studies on the environmental problems of Giresun in cooperation with both local media and NGOs. We strive to raise awareness of local people. We are working on a panel to discuss environmental problems of Giresun in Giresun. ”
Sadi Toygar, President of Giresun Media Platform, said: ediy We would like to thank you for the hospitality and the panel. As Giresun Media Platform, our goal is to be able to make the voices of our NGOs and support them. We would also like to have our mines in Şebinkarahisar discussed in this panel. ”
The members of the Giresun Media Platform also introduced themselves and expressed their opinions on Giresun's problems and solutions.
