Döneminin bir ticaret ve ilim üssü olan, külliyenin içindeki deve hanı ve medrese, Kastamonu Valiliği tarafından yeniden düzenlenerek turizm amaçlı yöresel mutfak ve el sanatları merkezi olarak kullanılmaktadır...
The complex, located in the İsmail Bey District in the city center, is located on Şahinşah Rock, which has two rock tombs from the 7th century BC.
The complex, which was built by İsmail Bey, the last ruler of the Candaroğulları Principality, includes a collection of buildings that exhibit the best examples of the principalities' art consisting of a mosque, a tomb, a madrasa, an inn, a bathhouse and a library.
The camel inn and madrasah inside the complex, which was a trade and science base of its time, was reorganized by the Kastamonu Governorship and used as a local cuisine and handicraft center for tourism purposes.
