Mescidin içinde Şems-i Tebrîzî’ye ait olduğuna inanılan bir türbe bulunmaktadır. Hz. Mevlâna’nın düşünce hayatında çok önemli bir yere sahip olan Şems-i Tebrîzî’nin Türbesi ve Mescidi Konya’da en çok ziyaret edilen mekânlardan biridir.
It is located in the north of Şerâfeddin Mosque, in Şems Park, next to Şems-i Tebrizi mosque. Today, the building continues to exist in an expanded form after being overhauled together with the mosque by Emir İshak Bey in 1510. There is a tomb believed to belong to Shams-i Tabrizi inside the masjid. Hz. The Tomb and Masjid of Şems-i Tebrîzî, which has a very important place in the intellectual life of Mevlana, is one of the most visited places in Konya.
