Daha önce elma bahçeleri varmis sonra fındığa dönüş yapılmış ama o da para etmeyince çiftçilik tamamen bitmiş durumda. Bakkalı dahi olmayan sessiz sakin bir köy. İhtiyaçlarını köye gelen satıcılardan ya da yaklaşık 2 km uzakta olan alışveriş merkezinden karşılıyorlar.
One of the small villages of Şile. The young population, which can also be called the retirement village, has migrated to the cities. There were apple orchards before, then there was a return to hazelnuts, but when it didn't make any money, the farming was completely over. A quiet village without even a grocery store. They meet their needs from the vendors who come to the village or from the shopping center which is about 2 km away.
