Konya'nın Meram ilçesine bağlı İnlice Mahallesi, Konya'ya 52 km, Seydişehir'e 40 km uzaklıktadır.
İnlice'ye ilk yerleşimin 1323 yılında Yörükler tarafından olduğu söylenmektedir.
Yörükler buraya ılık manasına gelen "ılıca" ve Yörük diliyle de "ünlüce" ismini vermiş. Şive değişiklikleriyle de İnlice ismini alarak günümüze kadar gelmiş.
Köyün en dikkat çeken özeliklerinden bir tanesi de evlerinin çatısının çinko ile kaplı olmasıdır. İstisnasız köyün bütün evlerinin çatıları çinko ile kaplanmış. Bu sebeple İnlice köyüne "çinkolu köy" ya da "cingalı köy" de denilmektedir.
İnlice eskiden hac yolu üzerindeymiş. Hac yolcuları önce Mevlana Türbesini ziyaret eder sonra hacca giderlermiş. Bu yüzden inlice köyündeki köy odalarında konaklayan misafir eksik olmazmış.
1990-2000’li yıllar arasında yoğun bir göç yaşanmış. Göçler genellikle Konya ve İzmir’e olmuş. Hâlâ göçler devam etmektedir. İnlice'nin okur yazar oranı oldukça fazla özellikle alim ve müftülerinin çok olduğu söylenir.
"Cingali village: İnlice"
İnlice District of Konya's Meram district is 52 km from Konya and 40 km from Seydişehir.
It is said that the first settlement in İnlice was in 1323 by the Yörüks.
The nomads gave it the name "ılıca", which means warm, and "famous" in the nomadic language. It has survived to the present day by taking the name İnlice with its dialect changes.
One of the most striking features of the village is that the roof of their houses is covered with zinc. The roofs of all the houses of the village, without exception, are covered with zinc. For this reason, İnlice village is also called "zinkolu village" or "cingalı village".
İnlice used to be on the pilgrimage route. Pilgrimage travelers first visited the Mausoleum of Mevlana and then went on a pilgrimage. For this reason, guests staying in the village rooms in the village of inlice would not be missing.
Between the 1990s and 2000s, there was an intense migration. Migrations were generally to Konya and İzmir. Immigration still continues. It is said that the literacy rate of İnlice is quite high, especially the scholars and muftis.
