Great park, lots of families and people doing picnic on the grass. There is also a special place for runners. It is mostly protected by the trees, so even on the hot day you can comfortably jog there. Also there was lots of tables to play ping pong:)

One of the nicest parks in Ankara. 12 mins from Kızılay by foot. Located near Hacettepe Medicine Faculty. Nice pond with fountain and bridge on it, lots of benches to relax and enjoy. It’s home to countless pigeons. Big tables under trees are available for a picnic. There is also a special designed walking/running path for exercise. Beggars might be annoying rarely but it is totally safe.

A place that I will never forget. You could have a picnic here, have a date, take a walk around the park and refresh your mind. I had the best experience in this park.

Independence Park is a two parks combine just south of the old city that are pleasant for running or just sitting watching birds and enjoying the nature in middle of bustling busy city center /Kızılay. When you come in evening or night you can see the park is lit. Quite beautiful to see with light lite up About 1 km from Independence Park is the hilltop 50th Year Park (50. Yıl Parkı), a sprawling city park offering views of Ankara, on nicely landscaped, rolling hill paths with some lovely flowers and plants. The Kurtuluş subway station is a good access point for both parks. To connect the two parks, use Erdem . Note: it’s a hilly climb between the two parks — nearly 100m. Independence Park or also known as Kurtuluş Parkı is a pleasant park that makes for a green oasis, with nice paths and a fountain inside. A running or johuing track loop of 1 km. Not for away from the park is the TED üniversitesi, also the Kızılay centre İt's also the location of wedding Hall. Official wedding registration is done here. So in weekend or weekday you can see bride and groom cheers up after walk out from the magistrate building inside this park Will be 5 star if only the people can maintain the park by cleanliness. Not much garbage spot if there's people still thrown garbage outside the bin not inside ? so quite heartbreaking. There's pond, seat for lunch break seeing the birds, some game vending machine and snack stall not much tough, however there's a lot of seating area so it's quite spacious and fresh place i don't see public toilet or rest room nearby so that's also a minus point
