The Military Service Branch, which is allocated to the Ministry of National Defense, has been allocated to Battalgazi Municipality by Milli Emlak as of 04.11.2016. Malatya City Museum, in order to promote the cultural, historical, social and economic richness of the city, contains all kinds of documents, goods, books, visual materials, audio and video recordings related to Malatya and organize temporary and permanent exhibitions based on these data, and the social and cultural heritage of the city. It is a museum created by Battalgazi Municipality to tell about his life and the changes he went through. The history of a city means the memory of that city. The most important feature of the places that are developed in terms of tourism and culture is that they protect the history of the city. All kinds of historical, ethnographic and cultural heritage live as the memory of the city and are transferred to future generations in a healthy way. With this project, we have signed this important project in order to protect and ensure the sustainability of social and cultural identity. This building, which will be used as a museum; gift and souvenir sales office, city memory digital archive room, staff expert room, service spaces, while other rooms are used as object exhibition room, visual exhibition room, etc. within the museum activity. will be used on the ground floor. This project will lead an important mission in order to protect the values ​​that make us who we are, where the experiences of Battalgazi, Battalgazi's past, present and future are exhibited. In a visual feast by carving the traces of the past in such a historical place, the guests who come to visit the museum will have the opportunity to experience the sense of belonging to their roots by experiencing the happiness of breathing history. The "Living Museum" City Museum is a first in Malatya, and the transfer of the cultural identity of this region from the past to the present, from the present to the future, and preserving the urban memory further increases the importance of this project.
