★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ihlara belediye binası kasabanın tam ortasında, vadi yolu kavşağında bulunmaktadır. Belediye binası önünde üç bankaya ait bankamatikler var. ( akbank, ziraat ve iş bankası) belediyeye ait tüm birimler aynı bina içinde hizmet vermektedir. Kasaba nüfusu kışları azalsa da yazları yoğunluk devam etmektedir.
 Ihlara town hall is located in the middle of the town, at the valley road junction. There are three banks in front of the city hall. (akbank, agriculture and business bank) all units belonging to the municipality serve in the same building. Although the population of the town decreases in winters, the intensity continues in summer.

A wonder of nature is definitely a must to visit in warm and cool weather because the valley is 12 km long and there are many caves to visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A heaven on earth. Walking through the valley is a really surreal experience. You feel like you are not on earth, but is walking on fairyland instead. The water flow sets the context for the experience. The steep slopes formation distinguishes this place from the rest of the world. Among all the places we visited in Turkey, this is probably the one true love for both me and my partner. We enjoy the serenity of the environment, so much so that we almost missed the rest of the group. This place is a distance from Goreme and would probably require a special transportation arrangement to go. But it worth every pennies you spent on it. The monasteries on the caves along the valley gives its spiritual connotation.
