One of the two campuses of Iğdır University.

My 12th grade I do not live in Iğdır. I will take the exam in the summer. I am doing a preliminary research. Is Iğdır health vocational school in the center?

The campus is located in the centre. There is a faculty of dentistry, a faculty of health sciences, a tourism practice hotel, and a nice library on campus. It's pretty cool.

About Iğdır University The foundation of Iğdır University is based on Iğdır Vocational School. Iğdır Vocational School, which was established in 1995 as a subordinate of Kafkas University, started to serve only with the Department of Business Administration, with 20 students, 16 instructors, 1 servant and 1 civil servant. The rapidly growing Iğdır Vocational School has become to serve more than 1500 students with 8 formal and 5 secondary education programs in a short time, the attempts to establish faculties since 2001 yielded results in 2006 and our province, which has valuable agricultural lands, has gained Iğdır Faculty of Agriculture under the Kafkas University. On 22.05.2008, in accordance with the Additional Article 100 of the Law on the Organization of Higher Education Institutions, Iğdır University was officially established with 3 faculties, 2 vocational schools and 3 institutes. Iğdır Faculty of Agriculture took its place in the 2008 ÖSS guideline as a result of intense efforts and started its activities in the 2008-2009 academic year with 30 students. Our University, which has largely completed its establishment phase since 2008, both physically and academically, has 7 faculties, 2 colleges, 4 vocational colleges, 3 institutes, 3 coordinators, 8 application and research centers, as well as a total of 278 academic, 199 administrative, 164 research centers. With its assistant staff and a total of 6380 students, including 3366 associate degree, 2516 undergraduate, 495 graduate and 3 doctorate students, it is taking firm and determined steps towards becoming one of the respected universities of our region and Turkey. Iğdır University, one of the youngest universities in our country, continues its rapid development with the projects it has implemented and continues. In this sense, one of the important projects implemented recently is the Research Laboratory Application and Research Center (ALUM), which was put into service in 2016. With its modern and technical devices, the center is a large research laboratory that researchers from both our University and the universities in the region benefit from. Iğdır University Practice Hotel not only provides accommodation services to its guests with its 84 rooms, but also offers health services with salt therapy rooms whose walls are completely covered with salt. With this feature, our Application Hotel has a special place among its peers. University Mosque Project with a capacity of 3000 people in the Martyr Bülent Yurtseven Campus of our university; Open Air Sports Facilities Project, which includes athletics, basketball, tennis and football carpet fields; The Seyir Tepe and Recreation Area Project, Animal Hospital Project, Medico-Social Building Project and Landscape Project are the projects that are planned to be completed and put into service in 2017, which will meet the entertainment and rest needs of families, local people and our staff and at the same time, student groups can organize different activities.

Social As for the scientific reason: the university is considered one of the few universities that was established at the time of the recent 2008. And it has proven its high efficiency and quality of higher education, due to the superiority of its cadres and the teaching staff who are doing their best. And as a foreign student: I receive double help and attention from the teaching staff and colleagues in the field of study. Agder University ranks 110 in Turkey As a university, it is constantly evolving It was able to open the College of Dentistry, and in the coming years it will open both the Colleges of Medicine and Pharmacy These two colleges prove that the university is heading towards the top. As for the social aspect: Its people deal in an elegant manner with foreigners, and they are also like the rest of the Turkish people, they welcome foreigners and treat them as if they are in their homeland and do not feel that they are alienated.
