Murad döneminde orada bir süre beylerbeyilik yapan Hüsrev Paşa tarafından inşa ettirilmiştir.Cami medrese, türbe ve imaretten oluşan bir külliye içerisinde yer almaktadır. Mimar Sinan'ın eserleri arasında sayılmaktadır.
Hüsrev Pasha Mosque, known as Kurşunlu Mosque among the people and located in the old Van, which has been abandoned since the First World War, was built by the III. It was built by Hüsrev Pasha, who was a governor for a while during the reign of Murad. The mosque is located in a complex consisting of a madrasah, tomb and soup kitchen. It is counted among the works of Mimar Sinan.
