Kitabesine göre; Merhum Ali Paşa'nın bu camiyi tamir ettiği belirtilmiştir. Kitabenin altında tarih yoktur. Son mısradaki "esas-ı azim" kelimesinin harfleri hicri 1142 (miladi 1729) tarihini vermektedir. Öte yandan Yusuf oğlu Darendeli Hüseyin Paşa vakfiyesinde Urfa'nın Karameydanı isimli mahallesinde bir cami yaptırdığını ve tamir ettirdiğini bildiriyor. Bu bilgileri veren vakfiye hicri 1141 (miladi 1728) tarihlidir. Anlaşılan odur ki; Urfa Valisi Darendeli Hüseyin Paşa kitabeye kendi adını yazdırmamıştır. Cami mimberinin kapısı üzerinde hicri 1297 (miladi 1878) tarihi kaydedilmiştir. Bunun da mimberin tamir tarihi olduğu kabul edilmektedir.
Hüseyin Pasa Mosque is in the district of Kara Meydani, in the middle of the road. The mosque was built in 1728 (1141 AH) by Hüseyin Pasha, the governor of Urfa. According to its inscription; It is stated that the deceased Ali Pasha repaired this mosque. There is no date under the inscription. The letters of the word "essential-azim" in the last line give the date 1142 Hijri (1729 AD). On the other hand, Yusuf's son Darendeli Hüseyin Pasha reports that he had a mosque built and repaired in the district of Karameydanı in Urfa in his endowment. The foundation giving this information is dated 1141 (1728 AD). Apparently it is that; Urfa Governor Darendeli Hüseyin Pasha did not write his name on the inscription. On the door of the mosque's mimbar, the date of 1297 (Islamic calendar) (1878 AD) is recorded. It is accepted that this is the repair date of the mimber.
