Homeprof or B&Q as we like to call it, albeit a reduced scaled down version. I guess it was the colour scheme frontage that set the nickname but it stuck. Seems to have it all and in the early days of our visits to the town many moons ago was the place to go when needing to replace those items either broken by our careless guests or just needed replacing. Whether a simple light bulb or a tool that does one job they would have it all. From gardening to lighting, from electrics to building products, from hardware to furniture Homeprof would be the initial place to start. And yes there are many other places to seek out and we do but it's a bit like your favourite shop that you feel comfortable and at home in. The staff are very helpful and most speak English (bonus for idiots like me) I believe it's a family run business and after a while you stop worrying about the prices and just buy. I had to replace a toilet and found a newly shop similar to Homeprof on one of the roads out of town. I had to be precise as the outlet needed to bottom (oops!) entry and when I found it was quite happy to buy the product. Fitted the toilet and all was well. Did a decent job and was quite happy. The next time I visited Homeprof I can across the same toilet.....only 50tl cheaper. Should have gone to B&Q...I mean Homeprof

Bought a garden hose, used it once and the hose split! Took it back the next day to be told, “these hoses have no guarantee and cannot be exchanged”! I asked why I wasn’t told that when I bought it, the answer, “no guarantee on these hoses and perhaps it’s a problem in your home”! Staggering, customer service? Zero! If you buy anything from this store above 150 Lira ask if it is covered by an exchange policy. This place has everything you would need but it comes at a price and customer service on returns are non existent. Very disappointed.

Love this shop, you can get nearly anything.

A great place to find all your DIY stuff from and more. You will find stuff that you will never want and stuff that you don't know what its for. Stuff that has been there for years and stuff that is brand new. I can usually find what I need here so this is always my first post of call.
