Deneyimli kadrosu,dinamik ve yetkin öğretim elemanları ile ulusal ve uluslararası saygınlığa sahip, yöresiyle, sanayisiyle her yönden bütünleşmiş, yeniliklere açık çağdaş bir üniversite olarak “Marka Şehir Dünya Üniversitesi” sloganıyla hedefine emin adımlarla ilerleyen Hitit Üniversitesi, kısa zamanda en çok gelişme kaydeden üniversitelerden biri olarak dikkatleri üzerine çekmeyi başarmıştır. Koyduğumuz büyük hedefler doğrultusunda, gösterdiğimiz çaba ve gayretler sonuçlarını hızlı bir şekilde gösterdi. Eğitim hayatına başladığı 2006 yılından bugüne gelinen noktada; 11 fakültemiz, 3 enstitümüz, 1 yüksekokulumuz ve 7 meslek yüksekokulumuzda 1.551’i lisansüstü öğrencisi olmak üzere 19.000'den fazla öğrencimiz eğitim-öğretim faaliyetlerini başarılı bir şekilde sürdürmektedir.Yabancı uyruklu öğrenci sayımız ise 300'den fazla olmakla birlikte öğrencilerimizin çoğunluğunu Orta Asya Cumhuriyetleri’nden gelen kardeşlerimiz oluşturuyor. Diğer yandan Avrupa’dan Kuzey Afrika’ya, Orta Doğu’dan Balkanlar ve Kafkaslara kadar toplam 41 farklı ülkeden öğrencimize ev sahipliği yapıyoruz. Dünya standartlarında ve dünyayla rekabet eden bir üniversite için eğitim kalitesini geliştirebilmek, daha çağdaş ve esnek bir yapı içinde eğitimi sürdürmek, öğrencilerimize başarılı ve çok yönlü bir gelecek sunmak adına eğitim ve öğretimin yeniden yapılandırılmasıyla ilgili çalışmalarımız hızla devam etmektedir. Nihai hedefimiz en az bir yabancı dil bilen, sürekli okuyan,araştıran, sorgulayan, hedeflerinin peşinden giden ve gelecek kaygısı taşımayan mezunlar vermektir. Aynı zamanda 19 uygulama ve araştırma merkezlerimizle konusunda uzman öğretim elemanlarımızca pek çok konuda daha detaylı araştırmalar yapılmakta olup aynı zamanda 1 Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi bulunmaktadır. Tüm bu eğitim faaliyetleri, Üniversitemiz bünyesinde tam zamanlı çalışan 766 öğretim elemanı ve 610 idari personeli tarafından yürütülmektedir. Böylece Hitit Üniversitesi yaklaşık 20.000 nüfuslu büyük bir kurum olmuştur. At the point where he started his education life since 2006; In our 11 faculties, 3 institutes, 1 college and 7 vocational schools, more than 19,000 students, including 1,551 graduate students, continue their educational activities successfully.
