Hisar village ATTUDA - Hisar Köyü

A CUTE A beautiful place, of course, a cute village that is not known much by the public. The excavation work will be started by the state soon. Excavations will begin soon. A part of the village was evacuated due to excavation. In an abandoned view. But its nature, stone houses and streets were interesting.

Historic site has been declared an old settlement

It is a village built on the ancient city of Attuda, on a hill with open nature views on four sides. With the announcement of the protected area, it had to be abandoned. There are processed marbles everywhere from ancient times. It was often used in the construction of stone houses. So it's an interesting village. Even the mosque's stone with mousse was created from works belonging to the ancient period. Of course, this never happens we will see an image in a country other than Turkey. The scenery is very beautiful. Due to the fact that it is a protected area, old stone houses are not allowed to be renovated in the ruined condition. It was a border city between Caria and Phrygia on the road connecting Tripolis and Laodekeia to Aphrodisias. Some works belonging to Hellenistic, Roman and Byzantine periods are exhibited in the museum warehouse established.

We went to the village in let's mode. On our short trip, we left with the conviction that you should come back later and have a detailed tour. The village has been declared a protected area, so a new building cannot be built, the state has established a settlement that is a little further away called Yenihisar for the villagers. Very few people are left living in the village of Hisar. When you visit Attuta village, you are traveling in history. The village is abandoned and it feels as if the village was inhabited the day before, and today there is nobody left. In addition, as the ancient city, Laodicea was performing the function of the mint. Maybe that's why it was established in a difficult-to-reach place outside of the city. I enjoyed it very much while traveling. I recommend it if you think about the way ....

There is a different beauty in winter and summer. Due to its strategic location, it has been a place of life and settlement for two thousand years. If you visit the cities of Tripolis and Laodicea before Attuda and then the cities of Aphrodisias, you will understand the importance and location of the village more clearly.

Excavation work has not yet begun. Hisar village was moved to the new settlement. There are a few historical artifacts in the old settlement. There are people living in old houses. The village coffee is very beautiful, it is beautiful in every season, the scenery looks magnificent with the snow falling after a long time.

It is called the ancient city, but there is no study yet. There is no one left in the village, it is considered evacuated. Except for a couple of households, they moved to the lower neighborhood. Those who think like an ancient city will be disappointed. Those who want to see an abandoned settlement, who want to drink a tea in the village coffee house, can go :)
