★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Roman amphitheatre is definitely a highlight. Keep going towards the North to find some great roman streets with columns on each side. The site is pretty big so walking takes a pretty long time so budget that out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I heard that the tomb of the Virgin Mary is also near here.
And I heard that the woman's grave on the street was Cleopatra's sister.
It was well preserved and it was like a time slip in Roman times.
Especially the amphitheater is wonderful.
While walking, the guide said that this is the street where Cleopatra and Caesar walked in love .
When I was sightseeing, a photographer came with me. I bought the photos because they were reasonable price.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Feel in love with this place. My watch showed 24500 steps in this area alone. And I didn't cover even half of the places. 1 full day is not enough. Like Ephesus, this city is also stunning. Vast area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One the places in my Must see list. We have visited it this summer and I have only positive emotions. Here tou can smell the spirit of the ancient civilization, hear a lot of interesting stories about every day life of people, connection of this place with famous persons, etc. So, generally I mean, that is more interesting to visit all this location with guide. Coz if you come here without guide escort, you haven't opportunity to understand anything about this location and it's value in The World history.
A few life hacks. It is very cool when you come to this place and don't see a lot of people.
We have a great opportunity to visit this place when access to Turkey for russian guys was denied. Therefore, there was not so many visitors as usual. I mean, that better to planning your visit in time of registration or not in main tourist season, if you want to see more authentic scapes.
If you have no opportunity planning your visit using recommendation above, try to come here early in the morning, when this center just open.
Don't waste time within/near Cleopatra's pool)))

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ To visit this ancient city, it is in the price of the ticket to visit the travertine terraces of Pamukkale and is in the same park. I parked in the upper car park and its only a 20 min walk to the amphitheatre. The amphitheatre is amazing; it's been very well restored and preserved and there is a fantastic view of the mountains in the distance. It a pity but not all the amphitheatre is accessible. Highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hierapolis is magnificent, the areas which have been restored such as The Ancient Pool where Cleopatra and Anthony Swam and the Theater complex are fantastic. There are electric carts for rent at the entrances and if you are short on time this is a good option to see everything in the site.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely worth a visit after spending time at the pools below! Some of the features are beautifully restored! Good facilities for tourists as well with bathrooms and restaurants! Could easily spend a couple of hours walking around here.
