★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Herkül Heykeli: Ereğli sahilinde Atatük Kültür Merkezi'nin tam karşısında yer almaktadır. Karadeniz Ereğli ismi Heraklia Pontika dan gelmektedir. Heraklia ise Herküle ithafen verilen şehir isimlerini ifade etmektedir.
Efsaneye göre Herkül'ün Cehenneme inerken kapısında bulunan üç başlı köpek Kerberus u öldürmüştür. Kdz. Ereğli'de Cehennemağzı mağaralarında bu olayın olduğuna inanılmaktadır. Bu heykel de Herkül ve Kerberus yer almakta ve efsane heykelde anlatılmaktadır.
Statue of Hercules: It is located on the Eregli shore just opposite the Ataturk Cultural Center. The name of the Black Sea Ereğli comes from Heraklia Pontika. Heracia refers to the city names given to Hercules.
According to legend, the three-headed dog at the door of Hercules descended to Hell killed Kerberus. Kdz. It is believed that this incident happened in the Cehennemagzi caves in Eregli. Herkül and Kerberus are included in this sculpture and the legend is described in the sculpture.
