★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cami, 1271 yılında Hatıroğlu Eşref tarafından yaptırılmıştır. Uç beylerinden biridir.
Günümüze kadar birkaç defa tamir edilmiştir. Küçük bir camidir. Halen ibadete açıktır. Minaresi sonradan yapılmıştır. Değişik bir inşa tarzıyla dikkati çeker.
The mosque was built in 1271 by Hatıroğlu Eşref. He is one of the extreme gentlemen.
It has been repaired several times until today. It is a small mosque. It is still open to worship. Its minaret was built later. It attracts attention with a different construction style.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bir Selçuklu Kenti olan Kayseri'de Osmanlı mimarisine benzer tarzda olan küçük bir cami. İnönü Bulvarı ile Şht. Miralay Nazım bey Bulvarı kesişim noktasında. Eskiden Katıroğlu Sokak'ta imiş belki ondan ismini Hatıroğlu yerine sokağın ismini kullanmışlardır. Ama şimdi meydanda.
Selçuklu beylerinden Hatıroğlu Eşref bey yaptırmış 13.yy'da. Depremde yıkıldığı için de, hem kendisi hem de minaresi Osmanlı zamanında yeniden yaptırıldığı için böyle bir mimariye sahip olmuş; kare plan, büyükçe kubbe ve 3 küçük kubbeli son cemaat yeri olan tarz. Tarihi eserler güzeldir.

Hatıroğlu Eşref, one of the Seljuk beys, built the 13th century. Kayserı büyükşehir belediyesi kontrolü altında şehirin ortasında kalan bir cami-i tuvaletleri bu kadar bakımsız neden kalıyor. Ben burada yaşamıyorum. Ama eğer idare edilemiyor ise bu yerleri en azından ücretli çevirip bakım temizlik bekliyen kişinin maaşı vb
Friends here are very poor, especially the ladies part of the public toilets. Kayseri is a mosque in the middle of the city under the control of the metropolitan municipality and the rest of the room is left so neglected. I don't live here. But if you cannot handle these places at least pay paid and waiting for cleaning of the person's salary etc.

Es gibt zwei verschiedene Ansichten, dass es 1222 und 1271 gebaut wurde. Obwohl diese Moschee, die unter den Menschen als "Katiroglu-Moschee" bekannt ist, in einigen Quellen mit Namen wie "Toprak Minarett", "Osman Pascha" -Moschee bezeichnet wird, werden diese Namen heute nicht mehr verwendet. Das Minarett wurde 1835 bei dem Erdbeben zerstört und das Minarett wurde während der Reparaturen der Moschee 1867 wieder aufgebaut. Aus der Inschrift geht hervor, dass die Moschee 1912 während der Regierungszeit von Sultan Reşat erneut repariert wurde.
Diese Besichtigung war Bestandteil des Tagesprogramms vom 17.08.2020, den wir im "Reisebericht Rundreise Ağırnas Kayseri" ausführlich mit Fotos beschrieben haben.

The minaret was destroyed in the earthquake in 1835 and the minaret was rebuilt during repairs to the mosque in 1867. The inscription indicates that the mosque was repaired again in 1912 during the reign of Sultan Reşat.

Halk arasında “Katıroğlu Camisi” olarak bilinen bu caminin, bazı kaynaklarda “Toprak Minare”, “Osman Paşa” camisi gibi isimlerle de anıldığı yer alsa da günümüzde bu isimler kullanılmamaktadır. Minaresi 1835 yılında meydana gelen depremde yıkılmış ve 1867 yılında caminin tamiratı sırasında minare yeniden inşa edilmiştir. Caminin daha sonra 1912 yılında Sultan Reşat zamanında yeniden onarılmış olduğu kitabesinde anlatılmaktadır.
