Avlunun camiye giriş cephesi boyunca uzanan revakı, "son cemaat yeri" adını taşır. Yine büyük bir cümle kapısıyla geçilen asıl ibadet bölümüne genel olarak "harim" ya da "sahın" denilir. Ortada daha geniş olan "orta sahın" bulunur, bunun tam orta bölümüne "kubbealtı", yanlardakilere de, "yan sahınlar" denir. İbadet yönünü gösteren "mihrap", kıble duvarlarında çukur bir hücre hâlinde olur. Mihrabın önünde caminin esas tabanından az yüksekteki yer, "mihrap sekisi" adını taşır. Mihrabın sağ tarafında, hutbe okumak için merdivenli bir "mimber", solda yine birkaç basamakla çıkılan bir "vaiz kürsüsü" bulunur.
